Who will save Orchid Mason? Or will Orchid Mason save them? She's wearing a flower behind her ear.įawn Creek Middle might be small, but it has its tightly knit groups-the self-proclaimed "God Squad," the jocks, the outsiders-just like anyplace else. Orchid-who was born in New York City but just moved to Fawn Creek from Paris-seems to float. When Orchid Mason arrives and slips gracefully into Renni's chair, the other seventh graders don't know what to think. Renni's desk is empty, but Renni still knows their secrets is still pulling their strings. That's because Renni Dean's father got a promotion, and the family moved to Grand Saintlodge, the nearest big town. There are thirteen desks in the seventh-grade classroom. And in this small factory town where everyone knows everything about everyone, that's not necessarily a great thing. There are twelve kids in the seventh grade at Fawn Creek Middle School. "An emotionally resonant story about authenticity and belonging."-Kirkus Reviews (starred review) Should you have any questions I’m always happy to help."A powerful and thought-provoking story."-Shelf Awareness (starred review) You can then place cardstock of your choice behind the cut design so it shows through. Once the design has been cut you will need to fold up the partially cut pieces to create that 3d/pop up look. Then finish off by highlighting the whole design and clicking ‘attach’, your card is now ready to cut! To create a card template, simply choose a square shape and resize this to the card size you’re wanting to make, place a score line down the centre of the card, then resize and centre the design on the right hand side of the card (this will be the front of your card). This design was attached/cut centred to a 20x20cm square (8x8inches), however you can resize to suit the project you’re cutting it for (I would reccommended not cutting it too small due to the intricacy of the design).Īlteratively, you could also create a card template and attach the design to the front to make a greetings card for your loved ones. I have cut this design using a cricut cutting machine on white cardstock of 216gsm (80lb) on medium cardstock setting at default pressure. If you require another file format please let me know. You will receive a zip folder with an SVG (suitable for most cutting machines) and PNG file (transparent background) of this design. This design is perfect for creating Valentine’s Day cards, anniversary cards, wedding cards, Mother’s DayĬards… just add your own text to the middle, Whether that’s to draw with a pen, add vinyl or using a stencil font to cut out of card, there’s so many variations you could create!
